The 2025 RBC Heritage, held at the scenic Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, wrapped up with a thrilling playoff victory by Justin Thomas over Andrew Novak. This marked Thomas’s first win since 2022 and the 16th PGA Tour title of his career.
As a Signature Event on the PGA Tour, the RBC Heritage featured a massive $20 million purse. With his win, Thomas took home a winner’s share of $3.6 million. Andrew Novak, the runner-up, earned $2.16 million for his impressive performance.
Four players tied for third place—Daniel Berger, Mackenzie Hughes, Brian Harman, and Maverick McNealy—each earning $1.36 million. Tommy Fleetwood, who finished solo seventh, earned $670,000. Tied for eighth were Scottie Scheffler, Russell Henley, and Si Woo Kim, each taking home $620,000.
J.T. Poston and Sungjae Im shared 11th place, both receiving $500,000. Five players tied for 13th—Sam Burns, Sepp Straka, Viktor Hovland, Cam Davis, and Patrick Cantlay—each earning $420,000.
Several players tied for 18th, including Xander Schauffele, Sami Valimaki, Chris Kirk, Eric Cole, Jordan Spieth, Ryo Hisatsune, Tom Hoge, Shane Lowry, and Keegan Bradley. Each of them received $300,000.
As a no-cut event, all 72 players in the field earned a portion of the prize money, with even the last-place finisher receiving $36,000.
Caddies also saw significant earnings. Typically, a winning caddie receives 10% of the player’s prize, so Justin Thomas’s caddie earned an estimated $360,000 from the win.
The 2025 RBC Heritage not only showcased some of the best golf of the season but also underlined the financial rewards at stake in these elite PGA Tour events.
